A plant with good vigour; its fruit ripens mid-season and stays on the tree with little drop, a feature suited to harvesting with a shaker. In new plantations it comes into production quickly; it resists frost and moderate waterlogging but is less resistant to drought and excess lime in the soil, and is susceptible to olive fly, peacock spot, scale insects and olive moth. It has a good oil yield, of medium quality.
